There might be 3 reasons to explain why your adventure pass points are not matching the number of events you participated in:
1. Your participation has not been validated.
When you participate in an official Altered event, you first enter the PRE-REGISTERED status so the organizer is aware of how many participants will show up to their event.
Once the event is confirmed, your status changes to VALIDATED. This is the first condition to check because only VALIDATED players are awarded adventure points.
When you see this happening, you can warn the organizer about it, but please keep in mind that they are usually very busy and be kind to them when you do so.
2. Your event has not been marked as FINISHED.
When the event finishes, its organizer must end it in the event manager. This means that the event is finished and all participants have played during the event.
Sometimes, because they forget to do so or because they are very busy with the closing of the event, the event remains in PUBLISHED status and no points are awarded.
When you see this happening, you can again kindly remind the organizer about it.
3. My points have changed since the last time I checked.
In mid-September 2025, we updated our system for how events are assigned to the different Adventure Pass seasons.
As a result, we performed a recount of your Adventure Points for all past events to ensure everything is accurately counted.
4. There is an issue with the system.
Though the system is supposed to keep track of your progress in real-time, there are some cases where a glitch doesn't properly update your count.
We are making changes to our system as the open beta of the marketplace and print-on-demand continues, and sometimes a change there can have an effect somewhere else.
To correct these rare occurrences, we are doing a weekly recount and another full recount at the end of the season.
If you see this happening on your account and it is not corrected after 2-3 weeks, you can then send us a support ticket. Otherwise, please allow some time to pass to see if our recount corrects the issue by itself.
In any case, even after the end of the season, if you see a difference between your validated events and your adventure pass count, we'll be able to reward you with the cards you are eligible for.
